Switzerland-based singer, songwriter, guitar player who has recently released a new video and has an EP coming out in September. Last year she played 136 shows and 2019 is very active touring-wise as well. "It was a publisher coming across my music somehow and they contacted my manager and we started figuring out these (co-writing) sessions."
"The idea behind the whole thing was just to make a (music) video that you could pause at any minute, at any second, to have an Instagram picture ready."
"Of course it's work but the great thing is that I get to do - like, generally this whole music thing and also shooting this video - it was so much fun, so it's not like, 'Ah, work, I have to wake up very early in the morning'."
"It takes one single person in the crowd who can... help you make the next step in your career."
"I don't think it really makes a difference if I'm by myself or with a band. Actually, funny enough, when I play by myself I know it's all on me and somehow this strangely gives me, like, this sort of confidence because I'm in control of everything. I'm the only one to blame if something goes wrong."
"For me, a piece of work, like an EP, I like to compare it to a book almost. It's like a new world you create, a new world that I create with sounds, with instruments, with melodies, lyrics, and all of that."
"When I write songs... I always have a little movie going on in my head."
"It's always very, very nice to... almost see light at the end of the tunnel... That's pretty nice to have these little goodies, almost."
