Notable Guest Quotes

“As I was writing my song, a lot of things didn’t add up, and they were directed sometimes towards things that you would kind of have to experience to know and for it to sound believable.  So, releasing that song at 14, 15 years old just wouldn’t have made sense to me.”

“I always said, Quality doesn’t have a time limit.”

“A year makes a huge difference, especially in a musician’s life, in an artist’s, life.  Now I have a total different outlook on what I want my next release to be.”

“I think the next release will be even better than the last.  I would’ve done a lot of things different, but I’m really glad (that) the things I did right, I’m glad I picked those choices.”

“Nobody really understands, unless you’re in the business, all the hard work that goes behind albums and EPs… There’s so much hard work that goes into music and people just have to really appreciate the music.”

“It really does help.  I don’t think a lot of – a lot of people do understand, but – some people really don’t understand that radio and TV (appearances) are huge for an artist.”

“A lot of artists that are sitting wherever they are right now, thinking, ‘I can’t do this,’ you can!  It’s not easy, so don’t give up.  If you give up then you just don’t get any results, so just keep trying.”

“It’s not a competition.  We’re all working together and we all have our time.  And we all have that chance… Working together is definitely the number one key thing that I think will really help somebody’s music career.  You can’t be against other artists.”

“Definitely the hardest time in my life was being a student and also being a singer.”

“People are attracted to someone being their own authentic self…  People can tell when you’re not being yourself.  They can tell when you’re trying to be somebody else.  You’re much more likely to become more successful at getting more fans if you are who you were born to be.”
