Based just south of Los Angeles, he is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist who just released his eighth album at the end of January. He has gotten radio exposure from Mexico to Portugal to the UK to, of course, here in the U.S., and has an amazing story about being befriended early in his career by the road manager for The Beatles. In addition to all that he has done in music, he has worked on film projects including blockbusters “Titanic” and “King Kong.”

“I’m playing all the instruments, doing all the writing, I record myself, I produce myself, I do the graphics. I’ve done many things in the industry, and so I’m proficient in many things.”
“I have a set of real drums, it’s Ludwig drums, and these go way back to the ‘60s. They used to be on the Lawrence Welk TV program… I bought ‘em from the guy, Johnny Klein (Welk’s drummer and second cousin).”
“(The Beatles road manager) said, ‘Ya know, you sound like Paul (McCartney). You remind me of Paul’!”
“There’s a book coming out, it’s called, Living the Beatles Legend: The Untold Story of Mal Evans… and… my knowing Mal… they contacted me, and they said they want to chat with me, interview me.”
“I get so much enjoyment out of doing these things myself. So, it’s not a saving money deal.”
“The topics I do for my songs are many times not any kind of a normal topic. In country music you write things about trucks and girls and whiskey. In pop music, just different types of things. But I’ve written songs about the Native Americans… The veterans, I’ve written songs for the veterans… So, just whatever subject hits me, I feel what it’s like.”
“They ended up signing a contract with the World Wrestling Federation and I did tons of toys for them, recording voices, writing scripts… And I ended up doing business with Mattel, Hasbro… so I did hundreds of toys and audio, voice overs… producing those things.”
“So, I was a consultant to James (Cameron). So, we would meet at his office… And then we went to his home out in Malibu… And there’s a site down in Mexico, I had to go down to Mexico… and they built a set for the Titanic down there.”
