Notable Guest Quotes

“I’m open to collaborating as long as it’s right.  It’s all about making great music.  That’s what we want at the end of the day.”

“(collaborating is) all about the feeling and nothing more than that.  For me, as long as it feels good, you gotta do it.  And if you feel like you can make a great song with that particular individual, then go for it.  You never want to stretch it when it comes to just trying to make a song just because of who somebody is because it won’t sound genuine and it won’t sound authentic.”

“For me, as long as a video is a truth of you, it can always be great, it doesn’t matter how it’s shot… As long as it’s done with an elegant taste, it’s always going to be right.”

“It was hard to have separated parents, but it was also something that I never realized would be extremely beneficial to me later on.”

“It was more around the age of 12 is when I really really got into knowing that this is what I’m going to do full-time.”

“It’s not about a buck.  It’s about being a part of other people’s lives… It’s always just about the people and them enjoying the message and what I can share with the experience that I’ve learned in my life.”

“Toronto, we have so many people of different ethnic backgrounds that live in this city, and that’s what’s so great is we’re able to experience different cultures where you can pick up different things from those and put it into your music.”
