“Now Hear This Entertainment” is a weekly podcast featuring interviews with guests who are having success in entertainment – primarily music. A new episode has been delivered on-time, every week since February 2014. The show has gotten listeners from 165 countries around the world and is one of the top two percent most popular shows out of more than 3.2 million podcasts globally. “Now Hear This Entertainment” has had multiple placements in the iTunes Top Ten (Music category) and the show has received two honors and been nominated for three other awards. In late spring of 2021 it was in the "20 Best Entertainment Podcasts of 2021," as published by Welp Magazine.
Guests on NHTE have ranged from Roy Orbison, Jr. to the keyboard player for Aerosmith to the lead guitar player for Garth Brooks to the fiddle player for Taylor Swift to the drummer for Cheap Trick to the bass player for P!NK to the trumpet player for Billy Joel, plus, seven GRAMMY Award winners, two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, a Las Vegas headliner, three Emmy Award winners, and even participants from “American Idol,” “The Voice,” “America’s Got Talent,” and “The X Factor” (including one singer who won “The Voice”). Guests have come from an array of genres and locales (the latter to include 17 different countries).

Now based in L.A., she has also lived in Las Vegas and New York. She is a Russian-American singer, songwriter, and voice teacher who has been cited by the New York Times, been published in magazines, and has collaborated with various brands. Her music is a crossover that blends classical and opera with pop, jazz, and Latin. She released a single in September and had put out two singles last year as well. She's aiming to release more new music in January or February.
NHTE 295 Eileen Carey
Singer who reached the top of the New Music Weekly radio charts this past Spring, and, she was their AC/Hot AC Breakthrough Artist of 2019. Based in California, last month she traveled to Music City to headline the Nashville Sync Summit. Her newest music video garnered over 49 thousand views in the first two-and-a-half months. She has been recording new music and hopes to release a new single at the end of this month.
NHTE 294 Chloe Collins
She has a new single out, the third single she has released this year. She had a song on the 100th episode of the TV show, “Nashville” and she was a finalist in New York for Nash Next 2018, which spans 61 radio stations across 28 states. She moved from New York to Nashville a year ago. The singer, songwriter, guitar player's music has achieved placement on Spotify curated playlists. And she is extremely active performing in Music City.

Bi-coastal singer, songwriter, and guitar player, who has a music publishing company, recording studios in Tampa and L.A., a weekly radio show, co-authored a book that was released this past February, and is even involved in film and fashion. Music-wise, he just completed a score for a new movie, writing a few of the songs with Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins. He has also had multiple song placements on the Food Network. And he has shared the stage with the likes of John Fogerty and Paul Anka, and has even written with artists from Boyz II Men to Plain White Ts to Candlebox.

Singer, songwriter, and guitar player who lives in Nashville. She had a feature with Sirius XM and will be returning as the headliner at KIX Country Fest in Daytona Beach, Florida. She toured the UK and Ireland as the headliner of the Rednecks and Rhinestone Festival. She was chosen to perform on the main stage at Summer NAMM 2019 and had also performed at this year's CMA Fest. She also has a vocal studio and does voice coaching, having coached people on "The Voice," Disney, and Nickelodeon. Last year she was a USO Featured Artist of the Month.

Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and guitar player who has a single out that got more than 50,000 streams in the first two weeks. Another new song is on the way. She played a sold out show in New York at Rockwood Music Hall. Shannon mixes elements of neo-soul with the melodies of R&B into a fresh sound all her own.
NHTE 290 Grace Askew
Rolling Stone magazine deemed her the number one most robbed contestant on season four of "The Voice." She is currently in the midst of a two-year songwriting challenge, which had started off as a song-a-day for one year. Based in Memphis, she is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Her new album is releasing two days after this interview comes out.

In the last seven months this Austin, Texas-based singer, songwriter, guitar player shared the stage with Peter Frampton and Billy Gibbons at the Winter NAMM Show, released her first album, and had three performances at South by Southwest. She has two songs on Spotify with well over one million streams each. She has been touring the U.S. extensively.
NHTE 288 Carl Wockner
Australian guitarist, songwriter, and acoustic live looping artist now living in Nashville. In 2015, he became the only Australian artist to ever win Top Honors at the International Acoustic Music Awards and the following year he and his family moved to Nashville. Between multiple headliner performances at festivals and touring, he is rumored to be one of the busiest musicians in Nashville. He is becoming well known by his signature “dreads and red glasses.”
NHTE 287 Justin Johnson
A multi-instrumentalist, known best for his guitar skills. His original music has been licensed to Dodge Motor Co, Ken Burns, the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, PBS, and more. Guitar World magazine says he is a “must-see act” and he has been praised by Bootsy Collins for his funk. Widely seen online due to his having come up with a shovel guitar, he has a combined social media following that tops one million. He is also the founder of Roots Music School in Nashville.
