“Now Hear This Entertainment” is a weekly podcast featuring interviews with guests who are having success in entertainment – primarily music. A new episode has been delivered on-time, every week since February 2014. The show has gotten listeners from 165 countries around the world and is one of the top two percent most popular shows out of more than 3.2 million podcasts globally. “Now Hear This Entertainment” has had multiple placements in the iTunes Top Ten (Music category) and the show has received two honors and been nominated for three other awards. In late spring of 2021 it was in the "20 Best Entertainment Podcasts of 2021," as published by Welp Magazine.
Guests on NHTE have ranged from Roy Orbison, Jr. to the keyboard player for Aerosmith to the lead guitar player for Garth Brooks to the fiddle player for Taylor Swift to the drummer for Cheap Trick to the bass player for P!NK to the trumpet player for Billy Joel, plus, seven GRAMMY Award winners, two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, a Las Vegas headliner, three Emmy Award winners, and even participants from “American Idol,” “The Voice,” “America’s Got Talent,” and “The X Factor” (including one singer who won “The Voice”). Guests have come from an array of genres and locales (the latter to include 17 different countries).

NHTE 575 Fox and Bones
A folk duo that put out a ten-song album that was released last May and has a new single coming out next month. They have been reviewed by Parade Magazine and performed on international stages in addition to having earned first place at the 2023 Tucson Folk Festival songwriting contest and second place in the International Acoustic Music Awards, among other accolades. Amidst their rigorous tour schedule, the duo founded Portland’s Folk Festival. Their top five songs on Spotify have gotten more than 1.3 million streams on that platform alone.
NHTE 574 Jann Klose
An award-winning pop singer-songwriter, who has released seven albums and two EPs. Singles from his most recent album Surrender (2023) have accumulated over five million streams across all platforms and charted on Top 40 radio in both the U.S. and South Africa. He has new singles that will probably come out this spring. He has performed as an actor and singer in touring companies of Broadway musicals as well as in made-for-TV movies, voice overs and commercials.

On-location interview with a singer, songwriter, guitar player who just released a new album last month, on January 10th. At the end of October, he released a video for one of the songs that would end up on the album and it already has well over 41 thousand views on YouTube. He has an amazing story of getting out to southern California to perform at LAST year’s NAMM Show and in addition to performing at this year’s, he has shows coming up in late February on back-to-back nights in Georgia.

Orlando-based producer, songwriter, mix engineer, and musical artist, who also runs a wildly successful YouTube channel called Make Pop Music, which has almost 220 thousand subscribers and a combined total of over 14.6 million video views. In addition to working with some of the top audio companies, he has worked with hundreds of artists spanning 39 countries and a variety of genres. He has written more than a thousand songs and has more than 36 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, where his top five songs alone have gotten a combined total of close to 5.5 million streams.

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist who last year released four singles, was featured on six others, and is recording “a bunch of new stuff” this month. In 2023 he finished as a semi-finalist on season 18 of “America’s Got Talent” AND, that same year, beat out thousands of competitors to win TikTok’s Greatest Talent. Based in Detroit, he has performed at notable venues and events ranging from NPR’s Mountain Stage to being an Americanafest Spotlight Artist to the famed Bluebird Café in Nashville AND Whiskey Jam, among others.

A country singer-songwriter who released an album on November 1st and has four new music videos in the pipeline. He is a CMA member and was invited to perform last May at the Grand Ole Opry. His first single from his debut album had charted on Music Row and he has shared the stage with Confederate Railroad, Jamey Johnson, and other notable headliners. Born in Nashville but now living in Virginia, he is the son of a country music legend and began his musical journey as a roadie, learning the business while traveling with his father.

A multi-Juno Award-winning songwriter and producer, he is the founder of Sundown Sessions Studios and the founder and CEO of SyncSongwriter, with five songs from two SyncSongwriter alumni artists having recently been featured in a Cannes Palme d’Or winning film. He has produced numerous hit songs for radio including gold and platinum records for several major-label artists. His credits include working with Blue Rodeo, plus working on albums by major artists like Kris Kristofferson and Bryan Adams, among others.

A multi-instrumentalist, producer, and multi-genre songwriter who is signed to Sony Publishing. She produced the majority of Mickey Guyton’s three-time GRAMMY-nominated album “Remember Her Name” and is a co-writer on several of the album’s tracks. Based in Nashville, she arranged the instrumentation and choir, and played piano in the final performance of Mickey’s performance of the Star Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl in early 2022.

One of the founding members of the legendary band Grand Funk Railroad. A singer, songwriter, guitar player, in September he released a full album, and his American Band continues to tour, including a cruise that they will play on next March. He is a platinum recording artist 30 times over and even earned a Dove Award nomination. A music video for one of the songs on his new album got more than 25 thousand views in just the first four weeks alone of being on his official YouTube channel.

A six-time Emmy Award-winning recording artist, filmmaker, and television producer. Music-wise, he released a single in August and the official music video for it already has over 1.1 million views on YouTube. Based near Orlando, he has sold a half million albums and garnered a Juno Award nomination for Male Vocalist of the Year. He is currently directing and producing the movie “Undone,” which is based on a true story, and his 2023 movie musical “The True Miracle of Christmas” is now available on Amazon Prime Video. He is also the founder of the anti-bullying ministry Y i Count.
