Notable Guest Quotes

"I started posting online, on, like, YouTube and Facebook and Instagram... I was posting original music, and a lot of teenage girls started listening to my music and they started going, like, 'Oh my God, I relate to this.  I love your songs.' ... that's when we realized, like, wow, we can really do something with an online presence."

"It's hard to stay motivated when you know what you want to do with your life 'cause then your classes seem so irrelevant in a way."

"It's crazy because, the venues, they can be on people's bucket lists, and so it's really awesome to mark those venues off mine."

"I feel like every place that I perform at I connect with so many new people... One of my favorite parts of playing out too is getting to talk to people afterwards."

"You never know who's going to be in your audience.  I've had some industry people watch my shows... That's why every single performance I always try to give it my all 'cause ya' never know who's watching."

"Your audience wants to see you succeed and they want you to do well.  They don't want to see you mess up or anything.  Audiences are very supportive, so that's how I try to see it."

"Nashville is kind of like an onion.  There's several layers and you just gotta find the right people."

"I just really value standing out and embracing your quirks, I guess, and what makes you different."

"All my songs that have really connected with the most people, they've all been songs that have come from the heart.  I think that's what's so important is that it just has to come out of you.  You can't just do it out of thinking what's popular and all that."
