“Now Hear This Entertainment” is a weekly podcast featuring interviews with guests who are having success in entertainment – primarily music. A new episode has been delivered on-time, every week since February 2014. The show has gotten listeners from 165 countries around the world and is one of the top two percent most popular shows out of more than 3.2 million podcasts globally. “Now Hear This Entertainment” has had multiple placements in the iTunes Top Ten (Music category) and the show has received two honors and been nominated for three other awards. In late spring of 2021 it was in the "20 Best Entertainment Podcasts of 2021," as published by Welp Magazine.
Guests on NHTE have ranged from Roy Orbison, Jr. to the keyboard player for Aerosmith to the lead guitar player for Garth Brooks to the fiddle player for Taylor Swift to the drummer for Cheap Trick to the bass player for P!NK to the trumpet player for Billy Joel, plus, seven GRAMMY Award winners, two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, a Las Vegas headliner, three Emmy Award winners, and even participants from “American Idol,” “The Voice,” “America’s Got Talent,” and “The X Factor” (including one singer who won “The Voice”). Guests have come from an array of genres and locales (the latter to include 17 different countries).

This Nashville-based singer/songwriter is a two-time CMA “Emerging Artist” who will again be at Fan Fair. She has performed in venues across the U.S. and Europe and has sung background vocals on stage for stars from Gloria Gaynor to Taylor Swift. On this episode of NHTE she even makes an exclusive announcement regarding a new product launch accompanied by a song download.

Continuing the conversation with the 2014 Dove Awards New Artist of the Year. Earlier this year her debut album hit No. 2 its first week on the Christian chart and No. 1 in the Christian genre on iTunes and at Amazon in its first week out. She previously released two EPs that hit #1 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel charts. She even talks about quitting her day job to pursue music full time, plus starting a family in the midst of all the music endeavors.

A Texas-based singer/songwriter, he has played everywhere from traditional music venues to house concerts to online. He talks about his music, how he plans his tours, giving away free music on social media, his concept album that he’s writing with an eye on it eventually becoming a musical, and more.

A singer/songwriter who plays guitar and sings in the popular Texas band Suede Austin, he talks about that group’s success, including opening for George Lopez at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. and playing at Radio City Music Hall and in Las Vegas. He also discusses his solo work including having played multiple times at South By Southwest and his next release.

A California-based singer/songwriter, her lyric video got voted onto MTV and she has over 1.3 million Likes on her Facebook page. When she was just ten years old she was teaching piano to approximately 25 students. She talks about the label she is signed with, her latest single, her previous releases, and how growing up as the oldest of eight children with no TV in the house and not being allowed to listen to the likes of the Rolling Stones or The Beatles shaped the songwriter – and the person – she has become.

A longtime headliner in Las Vegas, including at two casinos on ‘the strip,’ he sings and plays many instruments from piano to banjo. He talks about Wayne Newton and others coming to see the show, getting his start at a former NFL player’s sports bar, performing on cruise ships, the element of improv, advice for young entertainers, working alongside his brother every night, and a deep respect for those who made Las Vegas what it is today.

An American Airlines music spotlight in August, Toronto-based singer/songwriter Roxanna talks on the heels of her debut release, “Exotica,” which features Chris Botti and was produced by Mark Portmann, whose credits include Christina Aguilera, Josh Groban, and Celine Dion, among others. Roxanna also tells of getting a well-known actor for one of her music videos, how being a nurse led to her music career, and her upcoming PBS special.

Singer/songwriter Sarah Donner quit her day job last December, released her sixth album this Spring, has her own record label, tours, has a “sleepy kitten” video that went viral on YouTube (to the tune of almost one million views), is writing a musical, will have her first public art show later this year (in her home state of New Jersey), teaches guitar and voice, and has taught songwriting to kids at an arts camp for the last five years.

The author of the Wall Street Journal best seller “The Art of Being Unmistakable,” Srinivas Rao checks in from San Diego, where he manages to surf almost every day to balance his workload. He has been interviewed by Glenn Beck, who called Srini’s book “one of the most important pieces of writing I have seen in quite some time.” We also talk about his “Unmistakable Creative Podcast,” which has surpassed 500 episodes and had guests ranging from Seth Godin to bank robbers to artists.
