“Now Hear This Entertainment” is a weekly podcast featuring interviews with guests who are having success in entertainment – primarily music. A new episode has been delivered on-time, every week since February 2014. The show has gotten listeners from 165 countries around the world and is one of the top two percent most popular shows out of more than 3.2 million podcasts globally. “Now Hear This Entertainment” has had multiple placements in the iTunes Top Ten (Music category) and the show has received two honors and been nominated for three other awards. In late spring of 2021 it was in the "20 Best Entertainment Podcasts of 2021," as published by Welp Magazine.
Guests on NHTE have ranged from Roy Orbison, Jr. to the keyboard player for Aerosmith to the lead guitar player for Garth Brooks to the fiddle player for Taylor Swift to the drummer for Cheap Trick to the bass player for P!NK to the trumpet player for Billy Joel, plus, seven GRAMMY Award winners, two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, a Las Vegas headliner, three Emmy Award winners, and even participants from “American Idol,” “The Voice,” “America’s Got Talent,” and “The X Factor” (including one singer who won “The Voice”). Guests have come from an array of genres and locales (the latter to include 17 different countries).

Singer, songwriter, guitar player who splits her time between the Florida panhandle and up in Nashville. She released four singles in the first six months of this year and is about to drop one more song in conjunction with the release of a new album. Four years ago, after a four-month-long competition that featured more than 800 artists from around the country she was named the 2018 Nash Next champion, which earned her a record deal with Big Machine Label Group, home to the likes of Taylor Swift and Florida Georgia Line, among others.

A singer, songwriter, guitar player with over 30 years experience playing his music all over the world, including Brazil, USA, and his home country of Scotland, plus he has even played at the Mandalay Bay hotel on the famed Las Vegas ‘strip.’ His catalog goes back to 2007 and last year his album “Whisky” was nominated for Scottish Album of the Year, while his 2018 album “Cross Country” had been nominated for UK Country Radio Album of the Year, plus he is currently writing what will be his eighth album.

A singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist who just put out a new single last month after having also released a new song in May, plus she has a new EP coming soon. She is a regular performer at the famed Bluebird Café in Nashville and has shared the stage with the late Charlie Daniels, opened for The Chicks, and performed on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. One of her songs on Spotify alone has been streamed more than two-and-a-half million times and her new music video has approximately eleven thousand views on YouTube in its first month.

An entertainer who is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, impressionist, and comedian that has been the heart and soul of his show for over four decades and has been headlining his own show in Las Vegas for over 18 years. He also still performs on the road, having bookings this year alone in locations ranging from Cleveland to Buffalo to Paso Robles, California, to Rochester, New York, and more. He does a stage show that features big band and a 32-piece orchestra, plus he performs a live weekly show on Facebook.

She is an award-winning and GRAMMY-nominated bilingual audio engineer, singer, songwriter, guitar player, recording artist. Her top five songs on Spotify alone have amassed well over 200 thousand streams and she is currently working on a new album. As a singer, she has appeared in albums nominated for Latin GRAMMYs, and as an audio engineer she has worked on GRAMMY-nominated albums. Her hooky melodies and fun lyrics have gone beyond her career as an artist by writing songs for other Latin artists, and corporations like Disney.

Nashville-based singer, songwriter, guitar player who released a new single last month. He was one of the writers on the 2018 Jason Aldean song featuring Miranda Lambert, called, “Drowns the Whiskey,” which spent multiple weeks at number one on country radio, was nominated for CMA Song of the Year, and sales-wise was certified multi-platinum. He is a regular at The Bluebird Café and The Listening Room in Nashville and even toured as a guitarist for Josh Thompson. He also had his own band, which was signed to Warner Music Nashville and toured for over five years.

Kelly Sherrod is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who performs under the name Proteins of Magic. She is a multi-format artist who just over a year ago released her debut album, with three of the songs landing on New Zealand Alternative radio charts. Recently she played bass and toured across Europe and America with GRAMMY and Academy Award winner Ryan Bingham, which included performances on Jay Leno and Good Morning America.
NHTE 448 David Hernandez
A singer, songwriter, and actor who was a Top 12 finalist on Season 7 of “American Idol.” Since then, he has gone on to a single that reached the Top 100 of the Billboard Dance charts and the track being streamed more than a quarter of a million times on Spotify alone. Along the way he was invited to sing at the Inaugural Ball for President Barack Obama and has even done some acting, including a six-month residency in an Off-Broadway comedy a year ago.

A musician who plays guitar with the bands Night Verses and Headcave, with the former being signed to record labels in the U.S. and the UK and the latter having released a six-song EP earlier this year. He has also made his mark on Twitch, where he does live songwriting and streaming, and he has put out releases from those sessions, including a 20-song effort at the end of January. He is also a Blackstar Amplifiers artist and has built a social media following that includes over a quarter of a million combined video views on his official YouTube channel.

A singer, songwriter, guitar player who was first discovered by GRAMMY Award-winning artist Kenny Loggins. She has partnered with multiple GRAMMY Award-winning producers Humberto Gatica and David Foster and has toured or shared the stage with country stars Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Cole Swindell, and more. Her debut single quickly climbed to a Top 40 spot on the Billboard Country chart and accrued over three million streams on Spotify alone, a platform that she has almost 55 thousand monthly listeners on.
