(Ethan) “I think it can kinda depend on the song. Sometimes it’s the melody you hear first. Sometimes it’s the bass line. Sometimes it’s the drums. It could be literally anything. And I think we kind of all come together once we have an idea and we build upon it from there.”
(Charles) “Our grandparents on my mom’s side were an opera singer… and then also piano player, so we have a lot of music in our family.”
(Charles) “Randomly we were just, like, ‘Hey, let’s be a band,’ I guess. We weren’t even thinking, like, ‘Oh, we’ll each separately pick up instruments and then form a band.’ We kind of just all randomly picked up those instruments.”
(Cameron) “Music definitely brought us closer together for sure because, hey, this is what we do together now, we all play music together, and we’re all in this together. Obviously, we have fights, but I don’t think any band doesn’t have fights. But it’s easier because we’re brothers and friends.”
(Cameron) “I really like musical theater and I definitely think that plays a big part in a lot of my writing.”
(Charles) “We do really like rock music at its core and we’re very raw. We’re kind of like a garage-y rock kind of sound and that’s kind of just where our niche is.”
(Cameron) “Disney originally just contacted us and said, ‘Hey, we’ve heard of you guys. We’d like to invite you guys to come audition for us and see if you guys are right to come and perform at Downtown Disney’.”
(Cameron) “(Disney) booked us for their New Year’s Eve show in (Disneyland). We were the only band that they booked in the whole park, and it was great… which was insane. It was so cool, being on that stage.”
(Ethan) “A lot of the places we performed at, they were like, ‘You, technically, shouldn’t even be in here,’ ya’ know, for clubs.”
(Charles) “We’ve all done a lot of extra work and background work. As well as, I was in a Disney commercial. Cameron was in it with me. And, I was on Perry Mason.”
