“Music has always been my safe place from my crazy, crazy life. Like, I’ve always used singing and songwriting and listening to music to make myself feel better, and it’s my sanctuary, so the second I start letting other people into my sanctuary there’s got to be boundaries. I have to remember the why behind this.”
