Signing Coincides with Pre-sale of Book
TAMPA, FLORIDA -- Pete O’Shea is a unique new entry on the roster of talent being managed, promoted, and booked by Now Hear This, Inc., it was announced today. The Long Island, New York, native is based in the St. Petersburg, Florida, area where he is a radio talk show host. He can now add ‘author’ to his bio. And, he is an in-demand speaker and a longtime comedian.
“I am most grateful for not only the new business that Now Hear This has been attracting of late, but the diversity of the clients we’re getting the opportunity to serve,” said Now Hear This President Bruce Wawrzyniak. “The proverbial bar is being raised. These are exciting times and adding Pete O’Shea is by all means a part of that. Although we do already have an author within one of our small business clients, Pete brings an element that is going to open up a whole new area. It is most gratifying to gain his trust and confidence in representing him with all he is doing.”
Yesterday marked the beginning of pre-sales for O’Shea’s book, “Pain Was My Friend,” which is published by Total Fusion Press and recounts his journey from car accident victim to miracle healing and forgiveness (of the offending driver) as well as losing 100 pounds along the way.
O’Shea has been a youth minister and, as of January 5th, now has two shows each weekday on WTIS-AM 1110. He continues to do countless speaking engagements and has 16 years as a full-time pro comic on his résumé, including locations such as Carolines and Catch A Rising Star in New York as well as on Carnival Cruise Lines.
Pre-sales of “Pain Was My Friend” are now taking place online through www.PainWasMyFriend.com. An official website is launching at www.peteoshea.net. On WTIS, which has a booming 10,000-watt clear channel daytime signal, he hosts “AM Inspiration” (7:30-9:00am) and “The Pete O’Shea Show” (11:00am-12:00pm).
