Now Hear This is pleased to welcome songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and Recording Academy voting member John Ludwig as the newest client of the public relations agency.
Based in the Chicago area, Ludwig brings a diverse and accomplished creative background to the Now Hear This roster. Along with his solo work — including a planned 25th anniversary re-release of one of his albums this September — Ludwig is also involved with the band Out of the Whirlwind and operates his own record label.
Ludwig and his wife, Jill, are also involved in nonprofit work through their organization, These Streets Are Holy. Meanwhile, 2026 marks 20 years of Ludwig serving as president of the Chicago Songwriters Collective.
Now Hear This Founder/President Bruce Wawrzyniak first met Ludwig during GRAMMY week in Los Angeles earlier this year at a reception hosted by the Philadelphia chapter of the Recording Academy.
“John is someone with a tremendous amount of creativity, experience, and vision,” said Wawrzyniak. “There are several exciting projects already in motion, and our team is looking forward to helping amplify his work and support the direction he’s headed.”
Ludwig said, “I felt an instant connection with Bruce on multiple levels, and it was readily apparent that a fruitful collaboration lay ahead. Truly looking forward to what comes from ‘now hearing this’.”
