Los Angeles-based Chris Mancini is the newest Now Hear This client, agency president Bruce Wawrzyniak announced today. The agreement brings a creative into the fold who wears many hats.
“I am sincerely grateful to Chris Mancini for choosing to sign with us,” Wawrzyniak said. “He and I served on a panel together for the Writing for Hollywood Summit a year ago at the San Francisco Writers Conference and I was immediately impressed by him and all that he has done throughout his career. The fact that he would choose Now Hear This to manage his PR is a big compliment coming from someone with his résumé.”
Mancini has been a writer, director, comedian, author, producer, and podcaster and works under the company name White Cat Entertainment.
Wawrzyniak noted that, among other work, the agency will not only drive social media efforts for Mancini and White Cat Entertainment but will be helping promote the various properties as well as the upcoming appearances that the new client has. Specifically, Mancini will be at the L.A. Times Festival of Books (April 26-27), Comic Con Revolution (Ontario, California, May 17-18), Pasadena Comic Con (May 24), and the famed San Diego Comic Con (July 23-27).
Mancini (pictured above) has written, directed, and produced on everything from soap operas to parenting books to horror films. His published works include “Pacify Me: A Handbook for the Freaked Out New Dad” (Simon and Schuster), “The Comedy Film Nerds Guide to Movies” (Morgan James Publishing), “Long Ago and Far Away” (Starburns Press), and “Rise of the Kung Fu Dragon Master.”
Mancini’s two podcasts are “The Quiet Journeys of Professor Atwood” and “Conversations from the Abyss,” with season four of the latter expected late this year or early 2026. He also did “Ear Buds: The Podcasting Documentary.”
As a working, touring comedian for many years, he performed all over the country, including Hawaii for the Ice House. He also worked for Catch a Rising Star, the Improv, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and more.
