GRAMMY-winning recording artist Darlene Koldenhoven has engaged Now Hear This for public relations support surrounding the release of her debut memoir and newest album, both scheduled for August 7, 2026, agency president Bruce Wawrzyniak announced today.
Based in the Los Angeles area, Koldenhoven has enjoyed a distinguished music career that includes performing with Yanni at the Acropolis — a performance viewed millions of times on YouTube — and appearing in the motion picture Sister Act starring Whoopi Goldberg.
“It means so much to me that Darlene has chosen Now Hear This to work for and with her towards the release of her memoir and new album on August 7, 2026,” said Wawrzyniak, who is also a member of The Recording Academy. “The two of us have had several sincere conversations that led to this and I have really enjoyed the spirit and the energy of those discussions. We are truly fortunate to have the opportunity to serve her and the Now Hear This team and I are raring to go!”
A longtime member of The Recording Academy, Koldenhoven has been nominated for three GRAMMY Awards and earned one GRAMMY win during her accomplished career. Her work spans recording, touring, composing, and vocal performance across multiple genres.
Now Hear This will pursue media coverage, interviews, in-store book signings, awards opportunities, book reviews, contests, social media initiatives, and additional promotional activities in support of the upcoming releases.
